I’m b ack in the motherland for a few weeks of grandma’s food and on road insanity :D
Our little i20 rental. 4 speed auto and slow as hell. Though it’s nice and comfy in Sofia traffic, which is where we’ll spend most of our time anyway.
Here are some cars.
I had no idea the Toyota Urban Cruiser existed
Ontario plates... I have many questions

Who drives the Trabant most:
People who can’t afford anything else
Hipsters
“Lost Cause” types who would be waving a Confederate flag in the USA

The Urban Cruiser
looks like the Scion xD with a little extra ride height. I bet Americans would have liked the Urban Cruiser more than they did the xD.

Wiki says the Urban Cruiser is a rebadge of the Toyota ist (lowercase i), which was sold in its first generation in the US as the Scion xA (which... existed?). The seconds gen was sold in the US as the xD.
Neat.

It’s the same car but with different engines, either a 1.3 with 100 hp or a diesel with 90 hp, and you could get an awd version in Europe.

Not just a Citroen XM, the car on the left that you’re following is a Citroen BX. Which has hydropneumatic suspension as well, and is even rarer nowadays. This one seems to have the not-smoked
pre-1990 facelift
taillights, no key hole in the trunk button (=remote power locks)
and an “ABS” badge, meaning it’s probably a high spec non-GTI one from ~1987-1989. Great comfy cruisers, those.

Omg you’re right! I didn’t even notice it. It’s such an unremarkable looking car from the back.
